Back in 1981, my then future wife and I visited Disneyland and rode on Pirates of the Caribbean. We noticed the sit down restaurant in the ride’s beginning as our boat slowly floated past. We promised ourselves we would eat there someday. The day finally arrived 32 years later. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. It was just as special as we imagined it would be. From our entrées of Le Special de Monte Cristo Sandwiches to the desserts. Hope you enjoyed a personal Disney Pic of the Week about Dining in Disneyland.

Mmmm, the Monte Cristo’s are so good but so huge!

Scott replies: You are not kidding about the size of those sandwiches. We didn’t eat dinner until 9 o’clock that night.
