I think I can speak for my California posse when I say, the highlight of a day at Disneyland is playing with the characters. Whether it’s a deep discussion about looking after mischievous Alice with Mad Hatter or high-fiving Pinocchio as he heads backstage, these are moments we treasure.
My friend Yoli (who I’ll be guiding thru Walt Disney World for her first visit in a few months) has the best luck with characters. There’s just something about her that draws them in. Personally, I think they can smell the chocolate chip cookies and milk on her breath but who is to say. Here we have another fine example of how characters are attracted to Yoli. While dining at Goofy’s Kitchen, the music started and Pluto started to dance. It’s better to boogie and jive with a partner, so he grabbed Yoli. As if she was going to say no. Groovy, man, groovy.

Great pic! Interacting with characters is one of our favorite things to do in the parks, too.
