Where in the World #230

Where in the World by Erin Blackwell

To all who come to this photo trivia game, Welcome! Along the way, the photos can make us relive memories and see details Walt’s Imagineers put into everything we love in Walt Disney World!

I can’t believe I forgot to wish all the moms a Happy Mother’s Day! So please take my belated wishes and thank you to Chris Kelly, Kerry A., and everyone who wished me a good holiday!

Chris Hanna, thank you for such a wonderful note! I appreciate it. 🙂

Adrienne Bedsole, does this mean you just started playing our little game? Well, then! Here comes the Magic Kingdom steam train to greet you! (Wow, new players two weeks in a row…)

Lee Anastasi asked, “How on earth do you type all of those names? 495?!!!” Well, Lee, that’s the kind of dedication we have here on the photo blog. Whatever it takes to make the readers– ok, I’ll confess. I don’t type the winners’ names. I import the weekly entries into a spreadsheet, mark the winners and sort by that column, copy them and replace the carriage return with a comma, and then paste them into the winner announcement. It sounds longer than it is, which is good because I prefer using the time to say hi to you guys.

Hi!

Here was last week’s Challenge:
 Where in the World #229

And here’s the answer:

Hurry, Players! We have to get onboard the Jungle Cruise! I hear you see a very rare sight: the backside of water! waterfall

Clinton Dickinson sent in this answer: “In keeping with the last picture: Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this boat actually leaving the dock? Or is it your imagination? And consider this dismaying observation: this boat is completely surrounded with water, and I’m you skipper. Which offers you this chilling challenge: to find a way out! Of course you could always swim away!”

That was amazing! Bravo! I am blown away! Jennifer Harmon, don’t you wish you heard this as you rode the Jungle Cruise last week?

Patrick Broaddus, good one about the alligators and crocodiles!

The “Good Team Effort” award this week goes to Vera Williams and daughter Heidi, granddaughter Izzy, and daughter in law Stephanie. You can be honorary skippers on today’s attraction!

Challenge #230: Where in the world is this?

Put your park tickets away, Players, because we don’t need this for this week’s Challenge!
 Where in the World #230

Do you know? Do you have a guess? Please send in your answer, before the end of the day on Thursday, May 24th, by clicking on the blue box below. Please do not post answers using the Feedback Form link at the bottom of this post. Remember to be specific with your answer – just naming a park will not get you into the drawing.
