I took the new Wild Africa Trek tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom last week (I will review this tour from a photographer’s view once I receive the photo CD from Disney) and had a pixie sized tour guide. Cast member Eleanor lead the first part of the tour through the forest and over hippos and Nile crocodiles. She was a wealth of information about the animals, trees and flora along the way. Eleanor is my Disney Pic of Week for Cast Members.

  1. My girlfriend and I did the Wild Africa Trek in February when it was first introduced, we LOVED it! The knowledge of the “guides” as well as the Disney details put in to it really made it a great tour!

Scott replies: I was skeptical about it for the price but I fully recommend it now. I had a great time and the photo ops are worth the price alone.
