Disney Pic of the Week – Signs

They can be funny, directional, educational, save your skin from potential harm, show you the way out, or clue you into how long wait times are for popular attractions. Yes, signs are all over the place and they always tie into the attraction or land’s theme. This week we shall shed some prism light on a few.

I found my sign while winding through the new queue for Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It’s a greater alternative to what you’re offered while in the elevator.

  1. Call me a dork, but I love the signs around the parks. A lot of them make me giggle or at least smile to myself. They really add to the immersive experience of being in “The World”. My favorite one is in front of Everest, “You Must be One Yeti-foot Tall to Ride”. Cracks me up!

Lisa responds: I haven’t gotten close enough to Expedition Everest to read any signs but perhaps next time I’ll inch closer.
