Where in the World #176

Where in the World by Erin Blackwell
Hi, guys! I have to start with an apology to Jamie Poynton, Maryann Eckenrode, and Zac Fangman. Somehow, I didn’t copy your correct answers to Challenge 174: the tikis at the Polynesian. I entered you into this week since I didn’t have you in last week.

On a more positive note: Congratulations to Mike Ventura on his new niece-in-law and to Jennifer Toto on her new dog!

Amanda Wright, we’re glad AllEars has helped you plan your trip! Have a magical stay at Walt Disney World!

And Allison Burgess, you have a great week too! 🙂

This was Challenge #175:
 Where in the World #175

And here’s the answer:

As I said last week, two groups of people have seen this. The first are pet owners who used the Magic Kingdom kennel next door to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Because of the kennel, the entire lobby is decorated with the cast of 101 Dalmatians including this little cutie with his teddy bear. (Which explains the cinder block wall, a common design for kennels in the 70s. I took the picture last December as we dropped our dogs off for the day. The second group of people who see this are the ones going to the Central Lost & Found window, even though the kennel is now closed for the new pet care center. I’ve been to the Lost & Found too, having lost my camera in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and my cell phone in Epcot. (blush) Thank you to the honest folks who turned them in! (I have a very funny story about the camera, but this isn’t the place.)

So, Maryann Eckenrode, you were right! I’ll leave it to you to tell your grandson. 😉

Katie Bowling was the first to send in the correct answer for the challenge! Congratulations to Katie and all other readers who got the answer right: Belicia Cullen, Scott Cullen, Maryann Eckenrode, Ed Elder, Julie Wickware, Amanda Wright, Steven Bowling, Caroline Dupre, Bruce Hinterleitner, Heather , Dave Cole, Jennifer Toto, Andrew Loft, Janice Johnson, Greg Strohmeyer, Vicki Edwards, and Dee Dee Kenney. Each of you are entered in this month’s winners’ drawing.

Challenge #176: Where in the world is this?

Let’s go back into the parks, shall we? Hint: I did NOT flip this picture. This is exactly how this object looks in Walt Disney World. Mary Beth Tarbet, I hope this lives up to your expectations for this Sunday. 🙂

Do you know? Do you have a guess? Please send in your answer, before the end of the day on Thursday, May 12th, by clicking on the blue box below. Please do not post answers using the Feedback Form link at the bottom of this post. Remember to be specific with your answer – just naming a park will not get you into the drawing.

See you next week, Worlders!
