Keeping Guests on-property is a great benefit to Disney’s profit margin. With a series of 3 differently themed All-Star Resorts, Disney can attract the Sports enthusiast, a Movies buff, and the Music fan. These resorts are categorized as a value due to having the lowest rates for Disney-owned properties. They do have game rooms, pools, a food court, laundry facility, bus service to all parks and Downtown Disney, and the all-important gift shop,
This time around we’ll take a look at these popular places to stay.
All-Star Music has 5 themed sections; Rock Inn, Calypso, Country Fair, Rock Inn and Broadway. Broadway is designed to look like a NYC street that ends with a small park. It’s my favorite of the 5 themes although I do love Rock Inn for it’s bold colors, jukeboxes and blend of the 50’s and 80’s.

Just like if you stayed in the city, there’s a marquee outside your window.
Check-in again on Thursday for Scott’s entry and on Saturday for Barrie’s. Who knows, maybe you’ll get an upgrade.
Just writing in to say this photo looks a bit like a tilt shift. Fun!
Also, I’m just discovering your point & shoot posts. Much appreciated! I’m determined to read my instruction manual before our next trip.
Lisa responds: I don’t own a tilt shift lens. It’d be cool to have one though, I haven’t used one since photography school.
