Here's a "Did You Know?" featuring a unique photo you can create in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland. There is a Cinderella fountain near the back of Cinderella Castle (as you look at the Castle from Cinderella's Golden Carrousel you'll see it on the right just before the path to Liberty Square). If you stand directly in front of the Cinderella statue and bend down, you'll see a painted crown on the wall behind her line up with her head. Whalla! You've given Cinderella her crown and she is now a Queen. Imagine a trumpet fanfare being played and white doves being released as you do this.

Giving Cinderella her Crown.

Scott, thank you so much for this unique photo op. We always make it a point to stop at this fountain but I would have never noticed the crown. Just another piece of hidden Disney magic waiting to be discovered.
Scott replies: You are welcome, Jen! It was pointed out to me by another Disney photographer. Happy to pass it on to everyone here.

Nice Job, Scott!
BTW its "Voila!", not "Whalla!" (though they are both pronounced the same.
Scott replies: You know, Barrie said the same thing to me, Dan. Must have had my Bugs Bunny (sorry Mickey!) voice going when I wrote that. :-) Glad you liked the photo!

We first read about the "magic" of this fountain in Allears mounds of info. My daughter LOVES this feature and has to run to the fountain every time. We never could get just the right shot of this. Now I know just the angle (i hope) to take the shot from. Thanks!
