Disney Pic of the Week – Snacks!

Photographic Innoventions by Scott Thomas

If you can not pass one of Walt Disney World’s popcorn carts after smelling the fresh popped goodies or need an ice cream upon seeing a Cast Member loading up a cart on a hot Florida afternoon. Then this Disney Pic of the Week on Snacks is for you. One of the first memories of Epcot for me was getting ice cream from the carts that were frozen hard to last in the Florida heat long enough to eat. Of the six snacks this CM was selling, Minnie’s Strawberry Bar is what I’d choose.

  1. I LOVE the Minnie Strawberry Bars – they’re really more-ish and best of all, are low on calories – hoorah!

  2. I thought the frozen bananas were not available at most carts, but found they were there, they just didnt have a picture and were easily missed. Trust me, after moving away from Disneyland, I wanted one like big-time, and searched them out! They are fantastic! Always a must have!

  3. Emily – I got a frozen banana in the Animal Kingdom while waiting for Finding Nemo The Musical. Perfect waiting snack! So yummy!

  4. I’ve never tried the frozen bananas, Emily. I saw them here and in a cart in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. So, they are in other places.

    What a nice tradition. 🙂

  5. I totally LOVE the frozen bananas. They’re getting harder and harder to find in the parks. The only place we found them in 2007 was ONE cart in Epcot and it was only at night before IllumiNations started. My daughter and I look forward to our first frozen banana every time we go. It’s a tradition now.
