When I was in photography school, I used to argue with my Photojournalism teacher. I was 100% certain that I only wanted to shoot in color and at the time it was because I was completely entranced by the crystal blue oceans, bright green grass, and constant sunshine of California. No, I wasn't living in CA (yet) but I'd made a few trips out West and well, everything just looked more vivid there.
I learned quickly though that black and white photos have their own place in my world. And as the years go on, the photojournalist in me enjoys shooting in B&W even more.
While looking for detail in Disneyland's Fantasyland, I saw this metal sign attached to Pinocchio's Daring Journey.

I find it to be both elegant and simplistic and for those familiar with the movie, it'll give you visuals of various scenes from the classic tale.
