LindaMac interrupts her Disneyland Adventure report to share photos and info on this year's Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Here are a few photos from today, the first day of the 2008 Star Wars Weekend.

As you can see, Chewbacca was out and about bright and early. The line to meet him at 9 a.m. was already unbelievably long! This park is packed!
They are using the renovated Hunchback Theater, now called the Premiere Theater, for several shows during the Star Wars events. One show is "Behind the Force: Experience The Clone Wars" -- during which they preview clips of the upcoming animated film "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."
Here's a sign outside the theater:

And here's inside the theater:

In addition to the sneak peek of the new film, John Singh, director of PR for LucasFilms speaks for a short while, and introduces the audience to a new character, Asoka Tano, who appears live and then is available for a meet & greet in her own special area on New York Street. This is her special "bubble":

The theater holds about 900, and has mostly numbered seats, with some bench seating around the back.
The theater also hosts the Stars of the Saga talk show with a Q&A session once each day.
This is one of the autograph stations around the park:
