Pacific Point Reserve at SeaWorld Orlando, home to both Harbor Seals and Sea Lions, has turned into a nursery lately.
So far 7 new Sea Lion pups have been born since Memorial Day and a few more are expected. I have made several visits to SeaWorld over the past few nights to check on the new night shows that are part of SeaWorld After Dark - Stay for the Encore. The shows are great especially the hilarious "Sea Lions Tonight" which is a spoof of most of the shows in SeaWorld but the pups have been getting most of my attention.
The Sea Lion pup in the next 4 photographs was born on Sunday at 10 am and I took these photos at 6 pm that night. So, this pup was less than 24 hours old when I snapped these photos.

To be honest, the pups all look the same after the first 24 hours of their birth. Well, at least they do to me.

Here's a few photos of the adult Sea Lions at Pacific Pointe Reserve.
Sometimes after a long day, I head over to SeaWorld and spend an hour or so feeding these beauties. It's my personal stress reliever.
Many of the Sea Lions have figured out a great way to get attention when they see guests with trays of fish. They swim on their backs then take one of their fins and continuously slap it on their chest as if to say "feed me".

I don't want to leave the Harbor Seals out! Check out the curly Q's on the end of his whiskers.
