Work continues on the Yak and Yeti Restaurant in Asia. Currently scheduled to open on November 14th but as of 10/22, reservations are not being accepted. The photos begin as I entered Asia near the Caravan Stage Theater and work my way towards the entrance to Kali River Rapids.

Construction walls are still covering up the former DVC location next to the Island Mercantile. Lilo and Stitch are now doing meet and greets further down the path that leads to Camp Minnie-Mickey.
From what I was able to see through the screening, the area appears to have an "under the sea" theme. Rock formations cover the back of the area and there are two separate photo ops where you put your face through an opening and you when you take the picture your head is on a different body. In this case, you will look like King Neptune or several other cartoon like 'under the sea' characters. I am confused about this type of theming in this location of Animal Kingdom.

Smear, Splat and Dip is a juggling and acrobatic show that I had not seen until now. Smear and Splat try to out do each other while competing for the "Paint Brush" Trophy. Dip (the person in the tie) tries his best to keep them in check. It's a fun show but a silent show except for the music. One thing I must say is that Smear and Splat make great eye contact and really made me feel like they were preforming for me. Dip, not so much. The show takes place outside of Chester and Hester's Dinosaur Treasures in DinoLand U.S.A.
