Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos from his trip to the parks on Friday, October 21, 2016.

First up a video clip of the Star Wars Construction site from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
In the center of the site you can see the two entrance tunnels and other structures taking shape.
A new wall taking shape along the new backstage roadway. The path for the new road is between that wall and the tramway fence.
A closer look at the tunnel toward Fantasyland. Looks like they are extending the walls to the left. You can see the footer and some re-bar.
In the lot closest to the structure work continues on the foundation and basement for one of the show buildings.
The rock work on the point of the island looks to be moving along.
New landscaping is going in along the tram way.
The Christmas tree has arrived onsite and will be assembled in the coming days for an early November trip to Main Street USA
In Town Square the cannon has been placed in its new location.
The Disney Showcase has switched over to Christmas merchandise now.
There was one rack of Halloween left.
The hub trees have received their Christmas lights.
Star Wars from the Big Thunder Trail. A steel support structure for the rock work.
Work continues on the Fantasmic stage area. Notice the projector under the netting. Looks like some projection mapping testing was going on.
No real visible progress on the Columbia.

The facade work on Peter Pan has wrapped up.
Lights continue to be installed on Small World in preparation for the Holidays. The attraction closes Monday, October 24 for the holiday installation.
The scaffolding is down from Roger Rabbit.
Work has moved up the block now.
The Toon Town fire truck must be on a call… (backstage for renovation).
The Nemo seagulls were MIA today.
Mickey leading Soundsational through the hub.
Critter Country is closed. A sign on the main walkway. It was closed just before the bridge by Splash Mountain.
The display in the Main Street Opera House has been updated with Star Wars concept art.
Time for the Flag Retreat.
Work continues on removing the Mad Tea Party set. Wonder if the statue will return?
Doctor Strange has moved into the Sunset Showcase Theater.
A narrow path by Monsters right now.
Now that AP Days have concluded it’s all clear around Stage 12 now.
The FastPass machines for Frozen are gone. I read they have switched to only busy days. Most days are now standby for all. Also interesting only 3 shows listed on the marquee today.
The Tower of Terror continues to be surrounded by scaffolding. The attraction is operating at 2/3 capacity (one shaft is down for renovation work) as it limps towards a full closure in January.
The Bugs have decorated for Christmas already.
The Moana sneak peek has moved into the Bugs Theater.
The poles on the right side of Route 66 have been installed for the Christmas decorations.
Work has wrapped up on the Rushin River Outfitters.
In the lobby of the Grand Californian is a Halloween display.

A fun polka band performing on the main stage in celebration of Oktoberfest.
