Contributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com sends us these photos of the new queue in the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. If you would like to view more from this trip here is my trip summary with links.

A few weeks ago, the queue at Peter Pan’s Flight was expanded to help alleviate the long outdoor lines this attractions always has. The queue has now been made to look like a portion of the Darling family’s home.

You start off by entering a series of hallways that can best be described as an art gallery.

  1. Hi
Just wondering how many people can fit in the ship. I have a family of 5 and was wondering if we could do 3 and 2 or if 1 would be left out? thanks!!

This will depend on the size of your family members and how tight you want to be in the ships. You can typically fit two adults and a child in without much discomfort.

  2. This looks so lovely–sort of like a museum exhibit on the Darlings–it will make that brief moment in-ride of being in their nursery all that more real.
I shall look forward to experiencing this as much as I will to the next time I get to ride! Super A+ work. It’s a *great* time to love Disney World!

  3. We went to WDW over Christmas Break…We saw the standby line was 40 minutes and I said to the group “there is no way, there is no line around the corner!” we hopped in only to find this new queue! We were “Disney’d”!

  4. Awesome pics. Thanks for sharing! Do you know if any of the new additions can be viewed if you are using the FP+ or is everything only visible in the stand-by entrance queue?

The FastPass+ merge point is outside of the new area and bypasses it. So if you want to see it you need to go through the Standby queue unfortunately.

  5. WOW this looks fantastic!!! Can’t wait to see it in June. Is the entrance still in the same place? I assume they removed the restrooms nearby to enlarge the space?

Yes the entrance is still in the same spot and there are still a couple of the old switchbacks and path. This took over much of the space that used to be the restrooms. The restrooms moved across the walkway to the Tangled themed area.
