Have you seen Magic Kingdom’s 2 new must-have Disney souvenirs?

If you're going to be at the Magic Kingdom any time in the near future, you might want to check out two new unadvertised items that have visitors waiting in long lines. There is a new photo opportunity that takes place in front of the park's Rapunzel-themed bathrooms, with guests photographed holding a lantern from the iconic boat scene in Disney's "Tangled". There is also an Enchanted Rose tumbler, created as part of the promo for Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The clear plastic cup features a rose in the middle of the base, a lid with various light-up features, and a clear plastic straw.

Why Disneyland’s PhotoPass+ could be valuable addition to your vacation

Posted on
For many, if not most, vacationers, photos are among the most cherished souvenirs from their travels. That certainly is true of guests on Disney vacations, myself included. And now that we are going to Disneyland for the first time, I have been planning for these photos - choosing outfits and iconic locations and making character-dining reservations. The first decision I made was whether we wanted to purchase PhotoPass+, a product that allows you to buy all the professional photos you have taken in the parks for one price.

What you need to know about changes to Disney’s PhotoPass

Walt Disney World is in the process of changing its website and policies for its professional photo program, called Disney's PhotoPass. The first thing to know is that all photos taken at Walt Disney World after Sept. 4, 2013, appear on the new MyDisneyPhotoPass.com, rather than the existing DisneyPhotoPass.com. (Disneyland, ESPN Wide World of Sports and Aulani photos still appear on the old site, as well as photos taken before Sept. 4 until they expire.)
