Medals Revealed for 2018 Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend

Can you believe that August is already a third of the way over? That means November will be here before you know it and with it, the 2018 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend!

So it's not a surprise that Disney has just unveiled the medals for the weekend's race events. It's a perfect pairing between this event and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival -- the medals all feature chefs from Disney movies!

Chef Tony serenading Lady and the Tramp during their romantic meal at his restaurant is on the Disney Fall Feast 5K medal.

The Disney Wine & Dine 10K medal features a chef that didn't quite get along as well with his guest as Chef Tony did with Lady and Tramp! Chef Louis and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid adorn the 10K hardware. We think Sebastian ran a 10K trying to escape Chef Louis in the movie!

Runners completing the 13.1 Mile Half Marathon will receive a medal inspired by the Tuscan countryside, showing sporty Chef Mickey out for a run, while those finishing the Disney Two Course Challenge - the 10K and the Half Marathon - will be given a rose-gold medal featuring Cogsworth and Lumiere from Beauty and Beast.

Finally, little ones participating in runDisney Kids' Races will earn a medallion sporting Chef Linguini and Remy from the Disney-Pixar film Ratatouille. By the way, there are still limited spots available for the kids' races.

The Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend runs Nov. 1-4, with an expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports along with the various races.

Are you running this year? In which races? Good luck to all of our readers who take on these challenges!
