Ashley:

I’m confused. Did WDW discontinue the extra magic hours for onsite guests? Isn’t that basically what this is only for a whole lot of money? I managed to get my aunt out past midnight a couple nights courtesy of those extra magic hours at the end of the day and we really enjoyed the nearly empty park but I wouldn’t pay for it, especially not that much for 3 hours!

DEBK REPLIES: Hi Ashley, perhaps you missed the note at the end of the blog post, pointing out that Disney After Dark does NOT replace Extra Magic Hours, but is held on nights other than EMH nights. EMH are only for guests staying on Disney property -- guests staying at other hotels are eligible to participate in Disney After Dark. Hope that clarifies things!

Susie:

As far as the “free” food goes....Do they limit you on the amount you can have? Like one snack or drink per hour? Kind of like they do on the sodas in the resorts if you do not have the “magic” cup.

DEBK REPLIES: I'm sure they limit you in some way -- they won't want people walking off with armfuls of snacks, after all. But I'm not sure exactly what the restrictions will be. Perhaps someone who attends one of these events will chime in.
