More than 15,000 Californians Will Spread Their Wings and Fly This Mother’s Day Weekend in the 5th Annual Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland Resort

Nearly 1,000 Registered Runners Have Competed Yearly Since the Inaugural Event

Propelled by pixie dust, more than 24,000 total registered runners, including 15,000 from California, will spend their Mother’s Day morning flying through Disneyland Resort and the streets of Anaheim in the 13.1-mile Tinker Bell Half Marathon presented by PANDORA Jewelry. Tinker Bell Half Marathon celebrates its fifth year this weekend with nearly 1,000 repeat half marathon registrations since its debut. The popular event is now one of the top three largest women-focused race weekends in the country. Many runners are participating in one or more events during the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend, including more than 4,000 in the Pixie Dust Challenge, where runners do the 10K on Saturday and the half marathon Sunday.

The Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend is one of four runDisney race weekends held at the Disneyland Resort.
