2011 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Merchandise

Deb_banner.jpg

The 2011 Epcot International Food and Wine festival officially opened today. Deb Koma and I are here to attend events and dine at the food booths and bring you the latest coverage.

Since we were at the First Bites reception last night, I got a chance to look around at some of this year's merchandise. Lots of fun stuff, some new, some repeats of years past - but all sporting this year's logo.

Elizabeth:

I went the first day of the Festival with my husband, saw the merchandise in the little store that's open between the Greece kiosk, on the way to Canada; however, there are some things you took pictures of that I didn't see!! Are they on sale at the MouseGear store at Epcot?? Fill me in! I'm going back the last weekend of the Festival & want to buy more stuff!!! :)

DEB: My photos are from the Festival Store in the Festival Building in Future World, the old Wonders of Life building.

Kaye:

My daughters & I attended on October 8. We were told that the white t-shirt with the names of the countries had only 2XL & small women's sizes remaining.

Sue Graham:

We've just returned home (to England) - this was our 5th F and W trip. Our 'best use' of a snack credit this time was the soft serve ice cream with a shot of Grand Marnier at the Dessert and Champagne booth. $6.50 and the CM told us it's the only snack that has been allowed with alcohol - fab.

Joyce Rodrigues:

I just got back from the festival. Wonderful! It's my second one. My friend's first time and she would do it again. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the lobster & scallop fisherman's pie at Ireland. We had it twice.
Does anyone know how/where I can buy the t-shirt with all the countries? Epcot did not have any large ones when we ere there.

Kristi K:

Do you know if they are offering the bracelet gift cards again this year? We LOVED them last year and are hoping to do that again for everyone in our party this year. We will be there in 3 weeks! Yayyy!

Deb: Yes they do. Purchase at the Festival Stores or Festival Center. Food booths do not sell the gift cards.

Michelle Kanger:

I saw on another website the price for the cookbook is $14.95.

jayne clark:

can you ship your festival merchandise home from the marketplaces? thanks jayne

Not sure, will have to check.

Page Stout:

Do you know if they have any Food and Wine pins left?

DEB: Yes, there were at least 3 left yesterday when we were at the Festival shop near the American Adventure.

Gina Cerasuolo:

Wonderful pictures. We've attended the Food and Wine Festival a number of times but unfortunately not this time around. Do you know if any of the merchandise is for sale online?

Siobhan Mason:

Wow! This year's merch looks GREAT. Thanks for the preview! At $30, I think they've priced the ladies t-shirts too high the last couple of years. It pays to be around on the last weekend of the festival, when they mark them down! ;)

Diane Vakratsis:

Hoping they have pins? If you saw them are they only available at that one location? I remember a couple years ago they were not to be found anywhere around the countries..

Christi:

Do you know if the Duffy Chef outfit is available by itself? Daughter already has a Duffy but would LOVE the chef outfit for him! Thanks!

DEB: I didn't see just the outfit but will look around in a day or so and let you know.

Charles:

Do you happen to remember if there were any other glasses besides the two pictured (and the pilsner glass on disneystore.com)??

DEB: Haven't had a chance to check out the online store. I don't recall other glasses but will revisit marketplace today or tomorrow.

Susan:

Thanks for the pix of the merchandise. Is there one cookbook this year for the festival or is there more than one? I couldn't tell for sure based on the pix. Any ideas on the prices?

DEB: I only saw the one Festival cookbook. Sorry, didn't write that price down. I'll try to go back and check it out.

Ryan Phillippi:

Is that Goofy statue on sale?! I want it! haha

DEB: I will check

Gina:

Great photos. I never make it down during this event. Always fun to see what is offered. Thanks for sharing and have a fabulous trip!! PS It really makes me miss Disney World. :o)

Claire Carrington:

We were able to attend the Food and Wine festival 2 years ago, and I loved the merchandise. I bought the poster and plan on having it framed and put in my kitchen. What's so neat about it, even as wonderful as the Mickey stuff is, what's nice to me is that there are other "non Mickey" merchandise.

Epcot has more of an adult feel to me during this time, and it's nice if you aren't traveling with kids to experience this. It was the most fun I've had in the worlds for sure!

Marie:

I love the chef duffy bear! So cute!

Maria:

Ok, on my list for my October visit so far - wood framed picture, women's cut tee and love that mug!!
